The Beyond The Valley Studio Tour began in the spring of 1982.

The charter members were 4 friends with pottery studios in and around the Dundas Valley.

Bodil Pearson and Anne Sneath are legends in the world of Canadian ceramics. Although no longer with us, their spirit lives on in the Studio Tour's dedication to high standards in design, execution, community participation and the sheer joy of creating.

Mindful of that legacy, Terry Osborne and Scott Barnim, the other two founding members of the tour, are proud to share this tradition with fellow artisans Richard Fisher, Pavlo Tsarynny and Oksana Pogorila, Michelle Prosek, Stephanie King and Paull Rodrigue.

And the tradition of excellence continues...

Paull Rodrigue and Michelle Prosek have recently won prestigious awards. Paull is the winner of the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition 2010 Award for Best in Category; Michelle Prosek is a Diamond winner in 'Favourite Local Artist' category in the the Hamilton Spectator Reader's Choice Awards. This fall Michelle is a guest at Pavlo Pottery(Studio 8).

New Studios...

Pat and Charlie Lawson joined the Beyond the Valley Studio Tour last spring; this fall Heather Vollans joins the tour. Her studio is in Copetown on highway 52 south of Governor's Rd.
