Ceramic tile, pebbles, aquarium stone, rusty nails, copper wire, beads on a plywood base. Heather enjoys the versatility of concrete and creates interesting shapes using molds. Her mosaic work usually incorporates salvaged materials-textured plastics, wood, aluminum, tire rubber, rusty metals, asphalt, ceramics, stone, copper etc – to create unusual wall art and decorative pieces for indoors and outdoors.
Heather also teaches mosaic and concrete sculpture in her studio in Copetown.
